Keith Economidis is a graduate of Southwest Acupuncture College (SWAC), where he completed a 3000 hour Masters degree in Oriental Medicine. While the main focus in Acupuncture was more ‘TCM’ or ‘Traditional Chinese Medicine’, Keith also took electives & clinics in Japanese styles as well. While the end result of both styles are similar, Japanese techniques typically utilize thinner gauge needles and less vigorous manipulation of the needles. This makes for a less invasive & less painful session, while achieving great results. SWAC’s curriculum also included extensive courses in Chinese Herbology & a variety of Health & Biomedicine related course work including: Western Pathology, Anatomy, Physiology, and more. Rounding out the program were courses in Shiatsu, Tui Na, Cupping, Gua Sha, Tai Chi, & Qi Gong.

Keith was certified as a Rolfer® in 1997 by the Rolf Institute of Boulder, CO during the 700 hour basic course. He later completed 300 more hours of continuing education and Advanced coursework. He was certified as an Advanced Rolfer® in November 2001. Keith has been a Massage Therapist in private practice since 1993. He graduated from the Cayce/ Reilly school of Massotherapy, located in Virginia Beach, VA. This extensive 600 hour program was based on the unique integration of physiotherapy and transpersonal studies. During the first semester studies focused on a specific Cayce/ Reilly protocol. In the second semester he had courses in advanced techniques, Sports massage, Swedish, Reflexology, and Hydrotherapy. Simultaneously he attended 180 hours in Jin Shin Do Acupressure workshops. Keith went on to attend workshops in Reiki, Neuromuscular Therapy, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Applied Kinesiology (Touch for Health), Somato- Emotional Release, Visceral Manipulation, & Source Point Therapy.

Prior to massage school, Keith attended & graduated from Radford University. His Major was Physical Education with a Concentration in Sports Medicine.
